Position Summary: Supervise and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations in highway projects, implementing preventive and corrective measures. Key Highlights: 1. Promote a safety culture and coordinate emergency responses SAFETY SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE: **10 years in occupational safety and hygiene in highway projects and/or supervision of terrestrial routes on high-specification highways.** OBJECTIVE: Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations established by the STPS (Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare). EDUCATION: Licensed Civil Engineer; experience in terrestrial routes. WORK LOCATION: Villa de Reyes, San Luis Potosí FUNCTIONS: * + Ensure contractors comply with the guidelines of the Occupational Safety and Health Program. + Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions. + Review proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). + Verify implementation of safety measures for high-risk activities (excavations, work at height, heavy machinery operation, etc.). + Identify potential hazards and assess associated risks for each construction activity. + Implement preventive and corrective measures. + Follow up on incidents and accidents, including causal analysis. + Prepare daily or weekly safety reports. + Record incidents, accidents, inspections, and corrective actions. + Maintain documentation required by labor authorities up to date. + Coordinate and deliver safety talks (induction, first aid, tool handling, etc.). + Promote a safety culture among site personnel. + Ensure the worksite is properly signposted and demarcated. + Supervise implementation of collective protective measures (guardrails, safety nets, road signage, etc.). + Coordinate response in case of accidents or emergency situations. + Verify existence of emergency brigades, first-aid kits, emergency exits, and fire extinguishers.
