Key duties and responsibilities The Emergency Response Technician is the first point of contact for emergencies within the plant, with the following main responsibilities: Receive, prioritize, and lead emergency responses calmly and quickly. Participate in post-incident meetings following drills and actual emergencies. Inspect fire protection equipment, including portable extinguishers, spill kits, eyewash stations, first aid kits, emergency phones, firefighter personal protective equipment, and fire hose cabinets, according to the inspection program. Conduct inventories of emergency response materials based on company needs. Participate in gemba walks to review and assess safety conditions of machinery and equipment, aiming to prevent emergencies. Deliver training to Emergency Brigade members and other personnel as per the training program. Assess safety conditions for authorizing high-risk work activities. Perform fire protection inspections in various areas of the company and prepare reports of identified findings for corrective action. Support joint projects with the EHS Engineer. Apply BRP’s Quality and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies. **Requirements:** Higher technical or university degree in emergency medical technology or related field At least 3 years of experience in an emergency response role DC3 certification for emergency equipment use Excellent decision-making and communication skills DRIVING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY.
