Job Summary: The electrical technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, adhering to codes and training others. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and maintenance of wiring, control, and lighting systems. 2. Identification and repair of electrical problems. 3. Supervision and training of workers on electrical tasks. An electrical technician has the following responsibilities: * Read technical blueprints or diagrams. * Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems. * Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. * Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. * Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or accessories using hand and power tools. * Follow state and local building codes based on the National Electrical Code. * Supervise and train workers to install, maintain, or repair wiring or electrical equipment.
