Visit macmillaneducation.com and follow @MacmillanEducation / @MacmillanELT **Job Objective** Responsible for developing and executing the company’s commercial plan within the assigned territory (private schools and public schools) covering preschool, primary, and secondary education levels; providing service and follow-up to current school clients and prospects; and achieving the sales targets set by the company. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Conduct and execute the customer (school) visit plan corresponding to the assigned territory; analyze sales opportunities at each institution; and develop strategies to address those opportunities. * Responsible for understanding the company’s objectives and commercial plan, and for executing each phase thereof (updating, prospecting, sampling, and closing) within the assigned territory. * Understand and apply the company’s Sales Model in interactions with each institution; secure meetings with decision-makers in the target market. * Carry out daily and weekly planning using the NEXUS tool; verify and update information continuously both in the NEXUS tool and in personal record sheets; consistently enter data collected during client visits into the system; record adoptions—both competitors’ and the company’s—in NEXUS (closing and updating phases), based on compiled lists. * Conduct sample inventory and submit the results to Sales Supervision and Management. * Properly manage the petty cash fund and submit expense documentation on the dates specified by Sales Management; prepare and submit the vehicle logbook to the Regional Sales Assistant. * Analyze the growth potential of the assigned territory (horizontal/vertical); forecast sales considering both existing and new adoptions; identify key schools within the territory to develop customized strategic plans; analyze company vs. competitor performance (qualitative/quantitative); present seasonal results by business line upon request. * Service to bookstores and distributors, including presentations and training on new projects. **Experience, Knowledge and Skills:** * High school diploma, completed technical degree, or incomplete undergraduate degree * English proficiency level: B1-B2 spoken * Minimum 2 years of field sales experience and face-to-face sales experience * Valid driver’s license * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Planning and time management * Strategic thinking * Process management * Continuous evaluation of personal performance At Springer Nature, we value the diversity of our teams and work to build an inclusive culture, where people are treated fairly and can bring their differences to work and thrive.
