You will work with purpose, learn every day, and contribute to building a more sustainable future. **What You’ll Do** * **Procurement Management:** Manage indirect procurement activities—including MRO, services, PPE, contracts, and maintenance equipment—to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective supply. Daily tasks include purchase order placement, supplier negotiations, and contract updates. Success is measured by continuous plant operations and expense optimization. * **Supplier Relationship Management:** Maintain direct communication with all suppliers, managing negotiations, quotations, and supplier development to improve delivery times and service quality. * **Order and Payment Tracking:** Track open orders and payment processes, manage incidents such as penalties and credit notes, and ensure timely resolution while adhering to agreed terms. * **Data and Documentation Management:** Regularly update supplier and contract matrices, confirm purchase orders, and jointly evaluate suppliers with internal users, following company procedures. * **Cross-functional Support:** Collaborate with multiple internal departments to identify procurement needs and deliver excellent service, ensuring alignment with operational objectives. * **Safety First:** Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors, supporting our journey toward a world-class safety culture. **What You’ll Bring** **Essential Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Administration, or a related field. * Minimum 4 years of experience in both indirect and direct procurement roles. * Proficiency in SAP ERP and intermediate-level Microsoft Office. * Intermediate-level English. **Desirable:** * Experience with Power BI and data analytics tools. * Familiarity with industrial or mining environments. * Experience in tendering processes and cost-reduction projects. **Why Join Weir?** We live our values: safety first, doing the right thing, mutual respect, striving for excellence, and delighting our customers.
