Job Summary: As a Material Planner, your primary role will be to estimate, plan, and schedule repairs to meet customer specifications and deadlines. You will coordinate with various departments—including Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and Operations—to ensure all customer expectations are met. Responsibilities and Requirements: Provide detailed repair estimates for customer equipment. Determine delivery timelines after checking inventory. Review customer orders, including identification number, price, delivery timeline, shipping and billing address, and customer specifications. Communicate with internal and external customers to provide up-to-date order status information and expedite requests. Request quotes and initiate purchase orders. Monitor incoming and outgoing invoices. Schedule with suppliers, including verifying delivery dates, reconciliation, and information. Support warehouse activities as needed (goods receipt, inspection, packaging, shipping). Other tasks as assigned. Preferred Experience/Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). Ability to manage complex scenarios by efficiently planning material availability and capacity. Experience in industrial engineering. Strong organizational skills. Adaptable and flexible. Demonstrates accountability. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or 0\-2 years of relevant experience.
