




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Prepress Operator in the graphic arts field to ensure color fidelity and aesthetic retouching in proofs. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration within a team focused on quality and continuous improvement We are a leading company in the graphic arts manufacturing sector; we are currently seeking talent for the position of ***PREPRESS OPERATOR.*** ***Objective:*** Faithfully reproduce, in the color proof, the tones of the physical samples provided by the client. ***Education:*** * Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or related field. * Associate degree / Technical degree in Graphic Arts or related field. ***Schedule:*** \- Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. \- Shift rotation according to department needs (morning / afternoon / night shifts) ***Experience:*** * Minimum 3 years in a similar position (Prepress Operator / Prepress Designer) ***Knowledge:*** * Proficiency in Photoshop – Specialization in color correction, with knowledge of tools used for this task. * Understanding of technical and compositional aspects of perceptual values for image retouching. * Knowledge of restoration and montage techniques. * Familiarity with Heidelberg Prinect workflow (desirable) * Knowledge of, ability to identify, and correct Moiré effect. * Proficiency in InDesign: Layers, Pantones, PDF output ready for printing. * Proficiency in Illustrator: Layers, Pantones, bleeds, UV varnish. ***Machinery and/or Equipment:*** \- PC \- Inkjet plotter (intermediate level) ***Responsibilities:*** * Complete established forms for the prepress department. * Generate productivity reports and editorial control reports. * Match colors according to physical samples and client requirements. * Perform aesthetic and artistic retouching. * Timely and accurate execution of prepress procedures for sheet release.
