**Job Overview:** * Follow technical specifications, quality requirements, procedures, work instructions, and Inspection and Test Records (ITRs) in the Mechanical Commissioning area during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases. * Report progress and completion of assigned tasks, and complete corresponding ITRs for projects. Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** * Comply with McDermott’s current policies, standards, procedures, and directives as outlined in the Code of Business and Employment Conduct, Conflict of Interest Policy, Employee Information Agreements, Internal Work Regulations, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Regulations, and other company-defined documents. * Embody the “lead by example” culture in all matters related to safety and safe work practices. * Support the BBSM process and conduct behavioral safety talks in the area. * Report directly to the Commissioning Foreman according to work plans and assigned tasks. * Hold daily meetings to review, assign, and track work programs; resolve requirements; and provide improvement recommendations. * Attend daily and weekly meetings with all personnel under your supervision to discuss production topics, administrative matters, and safety issues that contribute to team unity. * Perform mechanical commissioning activities related to preparation and field installation of temporary materials. * Conduct inspection and verification of parallelism between nozzles of dynamic equipment and piping. * Support testing of various process systems and individual equipment without energy, ensuring such activities are conducted safely and on schedule. * Commissioning Technicians from Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Piping disciplines must carry out commissioning work on various equipment\-packages, valves, instruments, electrical equipment, and instrumentation for the Manatee Project as assigned. * Ensure 100% completion of weekly assignments across all phases of the Manatee Project. * Accurately complete the Mechanical Commissioning Checklist according to planned activities. * Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools, and consumable materials appropriately and responsibly to perform preservation tasks safely and to required quality standards. * Understand the role and responsibilities clearly defined and properly communicated by the supervisor. * Carry out work in an orderly and clean manner. * Support maintaining effective communication channels. * Coordinate and collaborate with other Commissioning Technicians to ensure execution of plans during the Pre\-commissioning and Commissioning phases of the Manatee Project at AFY. * Support Commissioning Foremen in implementing and executing the Manatee Project Commissioning Plan safely. * Coordinate with other disciplines to develop mechanical commissioning activities. * Execute mechanical commissioning work, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards to meet commissioning plan timelines and quality objectives for the Manatee Project. * Perform mechanical commissioning activities and dynamic fluid tests on process systems, ensuring such activities are conducted safely and on schedule. * Perform leveling activities for static and dynamic equipment. * Perform alignment activities for dynamic equipment. **Essential Qualifications and Education:** * High school diploma or technical degree (may be validated through relevant discipline experience). A minimum of 7 years of experience performing duties related to this position and within the discipline is required. * \#LI\-RM1
