Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Japanese Food Runner to join the renowned Japanese restaurant Deigo, focused on exceptional customer service. Key Highlights: 1. It is also among the select restaurants in Mexico officially certified to serve Kobe beef on its menu. We are seeking a full-time Japanese Food Runner to join our **Deigo** team located in Colonia del Valle Centro. Candidates must be proactive and experienced working under pressure. **Benefits:** * Gross monthly salary of $9,451.20 * Weekly tips * Bi-weekly payroll * 8-hour shifts * Staff dining service * Additional discounts of 10–70% on select hotels, English courses, and more * Statutory benefits **Responsibilities:** * Report arrival and departure to the shift captain. * Receive opening and closing activity instructions. * Report for duty wearing a complete and immaculate uniform. * Inspect assigned station—aligned, properly placed, and clean. * Provide oshiboris, explain their purpose, and collect them after use. * Remain attentive to server instructions with the utmost willingness to assist and support. * A runner’s primary function is to create space and time for their assigned server (salesperson). * Stock the station with clean and dry work equipment. * Monitor dishes and beverages attentively. * Clean tables, chairs, coat racks, and arrange them neatly. * Never leave dirty items at stations; always carry them promptly to the bar, dishwashing area, and place them orderly. * Deliver food and beverages continuously. * Always remain prepared to meet customer needs. * Table setup time: 1 minute. **Requirements:** * 2 years of experience * Experience with Japanese cuisine is a plus * Immediate availability * Availability to rotate shifts: 11:00–19:00 / 14:00–22:00 / 15:30–23:30 / 18:00–01:00 * Valid official documentation (INE, proof of address, RFC, CURP, NSS, birth certificate) * 1 professional reference **Interested candidates: Apply now—we’ll call or message you.** This establishment practices NO DISCRIMINATION.
