If you are passionate about welding, continuous improvement, and working with high-end technology, this opportunity is for you! **Purpose of the Position** Ensure optimal operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of welding equipment and processes (manual and automated), guaranteeing safety, quality, and compliance with standards and customer requirements. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain, diagnose, and improve GMW, RSW, and Drawn Arc welding equipment (robots and automated cells). * Analyze and resolve electrical, mechanical, and process-related failures in welding equipment. * Ensure compliance with welding parameters per WPS and applicable standards. * Participate in new projects, engineering changes, and line startups. * Perform and evaluate destructive and non-destructive tests (VT, UT, PT, MT, among others). * Support internal and external audits (IATF, ISO, customer). * Provide technical support to production and other departments as required. * Implement improvements in process sequences, cycle times, and reduction of downtime. * Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and application of 5S. * Actively promote safety, environmental care, and quality culture. **Essential Requirements** * Education: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field. * Solid experience (minimum 10 years, ideally 12–15\) in industrial welding processes. * Experience in resistance welding, MIG/GMAW, spot welding, and Drawn Arc welding. * Experience in development and evaluation of welding procedures and inspection. * Proficiency in robotic welding and automatic/semi\-automatic equipment. * Intermediate English. * Availability to provide technical support as required by operations. **Required Knowledge** * Standards and codes: ISO, AWS, ASME, AISI. * Visual inspection and non-destructive testing (VT, UT, PT, MT, RT). * Welding metallurgy. * Industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity. * FANUC robot programming and maintenance (desirable). * Interpretation of welding drawings and symbols. * Continuous improvement, failure analysis, PDCA, and KPI management. * Industrial safety and automotive quality standards. **What we offer** * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Genuine opportunities for professional growth and development * A safe, collaborative, and inclusive work environment * Participation in high-impact projects and advanced technology * Membership in a global company with a strong focus on quality and people At Magna Formex, we value diversity and foster an environment where all individuals can grow and contribute their talents.
