**TRAFFIC EXECUTIVE**
**PURPOSE**
Manage and monitor international logistics operations, foreign trade activities, and customs compliance, ensuring the accurate execution of imports and exports in accordance with Mexican regulations and the company's operational requirements.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:**
· Monitor maritime, air, and land import and export operations.
· Track shipments, customs clearance, and deliveries.
· Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and carriers.
· Review foreign trade documentation: invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, COVE, customs entries (pedimentos), and certificates of origin.
· Monitor IMMEX, Annex 24, Annex 30, PROSEC, and customs compliance.
· Manage logistical and customs-related incidents.
· Reconcile data among ERP systems, inventories, and customs systems.
· Prepare reports on logistics costs, transit times, and operational risks.
· Support communication between procurement, production, warehouse, finance, and international suppliers.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR THE ROLE:**
**Technical:**
· Knowledge of international logistics and Mexican customs procedures.
· Experience with IMMEX, Annex 24, Annex 30, and foreign trade compliance.
· Familiarity with Incoterms EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, and DDP.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
· Experience with SAP, Oracle, QAD, or related ERP systems (preferred).
· Knowledge of HS Code, NOM, and USMCA/T-MEC.
**Professional:**
· Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (desirable).
· Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade.
· Minimum two (2) years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding industry (preferred).
· Experience in IMMEX companies, manufacturing, or freight forwarding firms (preferred).
· Analytical ability and operational monitoring capability.
