Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.**Job Responsibilities:** **Position Objective** Provide support to the process technician during startup of plastic injection machines and maintain consistent process throughout the shift to produce parts meeting quality and engineering standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Meet production plans according to established cost and quality standards. * Support the process technician in required tasks to ensure plant startups in accordance with the production plan. * Ensure that production floor documentation such as technical information and process sheets is available and up to date. * Collect process parameters to create process sheets. * Ensure placement of workbench information with documentation contained in the gray box. * Complete daily reports on program compliance, safety, and 5S for tracking area indicators. * Fill out process sheets and audits each time a model change occurs to ensure proper operational startup. * Perform mold mounting and dismounting. * Ensure integrity of plastic injection molds. * Comply with procedures of applicable standards IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and C\-TPAT in their area. **Education and Experience** * High school diploma or completed technical degree at minimum. * At least 1 year of experience in similar positions. **Required Competencies** * Knowledge of plastic injection machines, peripheral equipment and robots. * Knowledge of plastic injection processes. * Knowledge of scientific molding (desirable). * Knowledge of engineering plastic materials (ABS, Nylon, Acetal, PC, ASA). * Experience in mold mounting and dismounting. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
