A major automotive company located in San Luis Potosí is seeking: **IT Engineer with expertise in manufacturing project support within an automotive company** **\*Only candidates demonstrating experience in the following will be considered:*** *software development using languages such as Python, PHP, C\#, Java, SQL, and Visual Basic; relational database management including Access, SQL Server, and Oracle; application integration via web services APIs such as REST, SOAP, or GraphQL; project management methodologies including PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum, and support/development projects related to supply chain* **Responsibilities:** * Analyze and provide support for existing IT requirements, architectures, and solutions to ensure continuity, operational efficiency, and proper system functionality * Maintain and monitor existing IT systems to optimize processes and ensure operational continuity * Automate and improve workflows to optimize operations and enable efficient integration of existing applications * Apply and maintain innovative technologies in existing applications to enhance operational efficiency and ensure service continuity **Requirements** * **Advanced English proficiency (mandatory requirement due to the multicultural work environment).** * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Science, or related fields * 4–8 years of relevant experience in an automotive company (ideal) **Knowledge:** * Software development problem analysis and resolution * Validation of new software; knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, and other testing methodologies * ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) knowledge for incident, problem, and change management * Familiarity with virtual and physical server environments, as well as local and external network environments * Knowledge of vulnerability analysis for secure application development.
