




Job Summary: Lead the development, validation, industrialization, and optimization of laser welding processes for aluminum components in automotive applications. Key Highlights: 1. A major company in the Automotive sector is seeking: **Senior Laser Welding Engineer (Aluminum)** **Purpose of the Position** Lead the development, validation, industrialization, and optimization of **laser welding processes for aluminum components** in automotive applications, ensuring process robustness, compliance with OEM standards, full traceability, and the quality level required for mass production. This role guarantees the implementation of new technologies, process stability, and specialized technical support throughout the APQP cycle and series production. Knowledge of IATF 16949 standard required. **Requirements:** * Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, Mechatronics Engineering or related field. * **Must reside in Nuevo León** * Welding certification (AWS, CWI, CWS, or equivalent) preferred. * 3 to 6 years of experience in aluminum welding within the automotive, metalworking, or similar industries. * Advanced English proficiency * Process validation, parameter development, and advanced problem-solving. * Knowledge of laser welding. * In-depth understanding of aluminum metallurgy and its thermal behavior. * Verifiable experience in compliance and documentation for **OEM customers** (PPAP, Run@Rate, special specifications, audits). * Practical knowledge of **IATF 16949** and its tools: FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, MSA, SPC. * Advanced interpretation of engineering drawings, GD\&T, and welding tolerances. * Experience in robot programming (Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka) preferred. * Proficiency with laser marking software (EZCAD, LaserDesk, MarkUS, Winlase, or equivalent). * Preparation and import of industrial vector files (DXF, AI, PLT) for laser marking or tracing processes. * Editing of geometries, nodes, and trajectories to optimize laser processes in 2D and 3D. * Implementation of PLC communication for manufacturing cell automation. * Management of safety and access control in laser operation systems. **Responsibilities:** * Process Development and Validation * Support in new product launches and engineering changes (APQP) * Support in new product launches and engineering changes (APQP) * Continuous Improvement and Advanced Problem Solving * Technical Support to Production **We Offer:** * Salary: $35,000 to $45,000 depending on verified expertise * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Major Medical Expense and Life Insurance policies * Bonus * 30-day Christmas bonus (aguinaldo) * Grocery vouchers and savings fund Interested candidates please submit CV or contact 81 2076 5726 Salary: $35,000\.00 \- $45,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Major medical expense insurance * Life insurance * Cafeteria service Application Question(s): * Do you reside in Nuevo León?
