Production Supervisor

At Industrial Aceitera Maravilla, we are seeking a committed **Shift Supervisor** dedicated to operational excellence, safety, and achievement of production goals. You will be responsible for coordinating operational staff activities during your shift, supervising the proper functioning of production processes, and ensuring compliance with the company’s established quality and food safety standards. We seek a candidate with interest in food manufacturing processes, a results-oriented mindset, leadership capability, and experience monitoring performance indicators that contribute to continuous operational improvement. Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate operational staff during the assigned shift. * Ensure on-time, on-quality, and on-volume fulfillment of the production schedule. * Monitor proper operation of production processes and equipment. * Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, quality, waste, safety, and goal attainment. * Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and food safety standards. * Identify process deviations and coordinate corrective actions to ensure operational continuity. * Prepare production reports, incident reports, and shift performance summaries. * Coordinate shift startup, operation, and shutdown, ensuring effective inter-departmental communication. * Promote a safe, orderly, and goal-oriented work environment. * Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization. Requirements * Completed technical degree minimum; Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields are considered an advantage. * Minimum 1 year of experience as Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or similar role within manufacturing plants. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in the food industry. * Experience managing and monitoring operational KPIs. * Familiarity with productivity, efficiency, quality, and process control indicators. * Experience in administration and supervision of operational personnel. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Basic computer skills and report preparation ability. * Ability to make decisions and solve problems on the production floor.
