Production Planner

Description

Job Summary: Coordinate and optimize the supply chain, ensure on-time delivery fulfillment, and maintain efficient inventory levels within a continuous improvement environment. Key Highlights: 1. Strategic management of inventory and production. * Comply with and enforce company policies, plant procedures, and regulations. * Collaborate with the company to comply with all applicable laws and legal provisions regarding Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Management. * Support departmental functions to foster an organizational culture reflecting corporate philosophy. * Demonstrate and uphold respectful and honest conduct toward company employees. * Review customer portals (Ford, Renault, GM, FCA) and follow up on actions to improve Delivery Score / Customer Ratings when below 100%. * Analyze customer requirements, assess variations, identify requirements against contracted capacity, and communicate constraints to customers. * Generate the Master Production Schedule based on ideal inventory levels, capacity, and optimized production line output. * Develop the Master Production Plan ensuring on-time customer deliveries. * Analyze and maintain FG and WIP at ideal inventory levels. * Update FG\+WIP PFEP and create action plans to reduce Top 10 Over Stock items while communicating risks for Top 10 Under Stock items. * Coordinate weekly MPS / S\&OE meetings with multidisciplinary teams for collaborative decision-making. * Review raw material constraints with the Supply Planning team. * Track new projects for Start of Production (SOP), coordinating with the Launch Leader. * Maintain part number parameters in SAP to ensure data integrity. * Perform WIP\+FG inventory forecasting aligned with organizational objectives. * Ensure adherence to shipping windows, maintaining zero Past Due shipments.
