Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the transportation fleet with excellent quality standards to ensure constant fleet functionality, optimizing resources at all times, including repair time. **Main Job Responsibilities:** · Obtain engine software readings, interpret them, and establish action plans to correct faults. · As required, disassemble and reassemble engines and/or peripheral components to restore equipment functionality. · Optimize resources regarding spare parts and consumables. · Carry out assigned repairs timely and properly. · Apply preventive maintenance protocols for each vehicle type according to their schedule (A, B, C or M1, M2, M3\). · Record data in corresponding forms and systems to generate maintenance history for each unit (maintenance logs). · Perform maintenance tasks applying best safety practices. · Complete repairs within standard timeframes. **Types of Vehicles Used in the Company** · Trailer · 3\.5 Ton Trucks · Rabón · Crafter · Saveiro · Dolly **Job Profile** o Age: 25 to 50 years o Marital status: Indifferent o Education level: Diesel Automotive Mechanical Technician or related field. o Experience: Minimum of 3 years as Type B Mechanic (verifiable) o Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance protocols for cargo equipment (power units and trailers). o Proficiency with hand tools and measuring equipment. o Knowledge and skill in engine, transmission, and main component assembly and disassembly of vehicle systems (power units and trailers). o Schedule: On-site work with availability for emergency response when needed. o Systems: Ability to use software that displays engine performance readings.
