KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responding to and resolving abends (process failures) in batch cycles. Monitoring the production network and executing recovery plans. Providing first- and second-level technical support for applications within the BEX ecosystem. Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on Host components under strict response-time requirements (SLAs). Documenting incidents and applying emergency patches. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year (Junior), provided candidate demonstrates strong mainframe programming logic proficiency. CORE TECHNOLOGY STACK: COBOL, JCL (essential for error handling), DB2, VSAM, Control\-M (for network monitoring), TSO. ENGLISH LEVEL: Basic (A2\): Technical reading proficiency. BANKING SECTOR EXPERIENCE: Desirable. Prior knowledge of overnight banking closing processes will be positively valued. \[IMPORTANT] BEX WORKING CONDITIONS: Work arrangement: 80% remote (Home Office). On-site presence required for initial training and occasional office visits. Working hours: Availability for night shift (operational window from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM, subject to change based on bank requirements).
