Position Summary: We are seeking an instructor for Illustration Techniques to guide creative, technical, and expressive processes in digital and traditional illustration, fostering students’ creativity and development of their own artistic style. Promotes the development of integrative and applicable projects. **INSTRUCTOR PROFILE – ILLUSTRATION TECHNIQUES** The instructor teaching the course **Illustration Techniques** must possess academic training and professional experience enabling them to guide creative, technical, and expressive processes within digital and traditional illustration. **Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Illustration, Digital Animation, or related fields. * Graduate studies in creative fields, design, digital art, or education are desirable. **Professional Experience:** * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital and/or traditional illustration. * Experience using specialized software such as: * Adobe Illustrator * Adobe Photoshop * Procreate or other digital illustration programs * Participation in creative, editorial, advertising, or multimedia projects. * Teaching experience at the higher education level is desirable. **Knowledge:** * Illustration techniques (digital and traditional). * Color theory, composition, visual narrative, and development of a personal style. * Current trends in illustration and visual design. * Creative processes and design methodologies. * Integration of illustration into marketing and visual communication projects. **Skills:** * Ability to develop and foster creativity among students. * Proficiency in digital illustration tools. * Ability to guide processes of self-awareness and visual expression. * Effective communication and constructive feedback. * Ability to connect illustration with professional and occupational contexts. * Promotion of critical thinking and generation of innovative visual solutions. **Attitudes and Values:** * Creativity and innovation. * Artistic and aesthetic sensitivity. * Responsibility and commitment to student learning. * Openness to new trends and technologies. * Professional ethics and respect for diversity of ideas. * Advocacy for collaborative work and social awareness. **Teaching Competencies:** * Designs didactic strategies focused on practical and creative learning. * Promotes the development of integrative projects with real-world application. * Evaluates creative processes and outcomes objectively and formatively. * Motivates students to develop their own style and professional vision. * Connects knowledge with entrepreneurship opportunities and immediate employability. * Classroom management Salary: Starting at $140.00 per hour Scheduled Hours: 3.0 hours per week Work Location: On-site employment
