**French IV** **Job Objective:** Develop advanced communicative competencies in the French language, enabling students to express themselves fluently, understand oral and written texts of moderate complexity, and apply more sophisticated grammatical structures across various academic, cultural, and professional contexts. **Responsibilities:** * Strengthen the ability to comprehend oral messages and written texts in French that include complex structures and varied vocabulary related to cultural, social, and professional topics. * Foster oral expression through practice in debates, presentations, and conversations, allowing students to build confidence and fluency in communication. * Write coherent and grammatically correct texts in French, such as essays, formal letters, emails, and narratives. * Encourage participation from all students. **Requirements:** * A degree and teaching license in languages, French language studies, foreign languages, French language teaching, modern French language and literature (French letters), modern languages (French or French-English), French language and literature, French didactics, or translation and interpretation are mandatory. * **Valid language certification:** DELF - B2, EFRAN, TFI, DALF B2, French Evaluation Exam (TEF), Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF), UNAM Teacher Training Program, or Polytechnic Teacher Training Program. * Minimum three years of teaching experience. * Familiarity with platforms such as Teams, Blackboard, or similar is desirable. **Competencies:** * Strong service orientation * Effective communication * Organizational skills * Ethics **Why Work at UVM?** We are Mexico’s largest private university, with 65 years of academic excellence, social commitment, and professional vision.
