Is an integral part of the kitchen team, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. * Execute assigned recipes, ensuring proper cutting, cooking, and seasoning of ingredients. * Inspect ingredient and final product quality, guaranteeing compliance with standards for freshness, flavor, and preparation. * Strictly adhere to food hygiene and safety regulations, applying established cleaning and sanitization protocols to prevent contamination risks. * Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, reporting reordering needs to avoid shortages. * Properly store animal proteins in freezers and refrigerators according to Mexican official standards. * Conduct regular quality and freshness checks on ingredients, reporting any items failing to meet required standards. * Implement appropriate rotation of products, refrigerated foods, and prepared foods to minimize waste. * Prepare raw materials for dish production. * Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, and perform preventive maintenance on tools and machinery. * Correctly label and store products. * Collaborate closely with the kitchen team, communicating effectively and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Assigned Responsibilities for Butchery: * Prepare meat products; duties include receiving and storing meat, as well as cutting meat into specific portions for various culinary preparations. * Maintain the FIFO system in your work area and storage for meat, seafood, and frozen products. * Vacuum-pack items as required from your production. * Maintain detailed records of meat products, tracking stock levels, expiration dates, and rotation, thereby optimizing resource management. **To successfully perform this role, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:** * Technical training. * Certification in gastronomy or related field. * 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry. * Responsibility. * Teamwork. * Effective communication. * Organization. **In this position, it would be advantageous to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:** * Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and handling of various food types. * Knowledge of hygienic food handling practices. * Proficiency in using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
