Plant Controller (Manufacturing / Food Industry) **Location:** Monterrey, Nuevo León (On-site) **Salary:** $40,000\.00 MXN gross per month **Position Type:** Full-time **Role Summary** Do you possess a strong strategic vision in industrial finance and cost control? We are seeking a highly qualified **Plant Controller** to manage, supervise, and optimize the financial and operational information of our production facility. Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate budget execution, rigorous analysis of manufacturing costs, and compliance with corporate policies to support executive decision-making. **Key Responsibilities** * **Financial Controls and Closings:** Supervise the plant’s monthly and annual accounting close, ensuring timely and accurate issuance of financial statements under tight deadlines. * **Industrial Cost Analysis:** Monitor and analyze production costs in detail, including raw material variances, labor, waste, and manufacturing overhead (MOH). * **Budgeting and Planning:** Coordinate and lead the development of the annual budget as well as the plant’s financial forecasts (*forecasting*). * **Inventory and Assets:** Monitor and validate physical and accounting inventories, ensuring proper valuation and implementation of effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. * **Audits and Compliance:** Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring strict compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. * **Team Leadership:** Develop, guide, and empower the accounting and finance team reporting to you. **Mandatory Requirements (Exclusionary Filters)** * **Education:** Completed Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related field (**degree required; preference for Certified Public Accountant profile**). * **Experience:** Minimum **5 years of verifiable experience** in financial control, industrial costing, or controller roles **within manufacturing plants**. * **Sector-Specific Experience Required:** Must come **strictly** from **Contract Manufacturing (CMO/CDMO)** or **Food Processing** industries (meat processing, fast-moving consumer goods, etc.). * **Technical Knowledge:** Expert-level proficiency in financial accounting, **standard costing**, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. * **Systems:** Advanced proficiency in global-tier ERP systems (**SAP, Oracle, or JDE**) and advanced Excel or Business Intelligence (BI) tools. * **Employment Stability:** Demonstrable employment stability (minimum 2 years per position). **Superior Compensation and Benefits** * Fixed monthly salary of **$40,000\.00 MXN gross**. * **Major Medical Expense Insurance (SGMM)**. * **Grocery vouchers**. * **Savings fund**. * Annual performance bonus. * Training, continuous professional development, and excellent job stability.
