**Senior Accountant (Industry / Manufacturing)**
On-site \| Full-time
We are seeking an **Accountant with experience in industry/manufacturing**, focused on implementation and operations, capable of **designing, structuring, and leading the accounting department** from both strategic and operational perspectives.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring **tax compliance**, **reliability of financial information**, and **optimization of administrative processes**, directly contributing to business decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Department Structuring**
* Design and optimize the accounting–administrative structure
* Define policies, procedures, and internal controls
* Implement systems (ERP, invoicing, etc.)
* Create chart of accounts, cost centers, and journal entry rules
* Document key processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Procurement)
**Accounting and Industry**
* Supervise accounting in accordance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF)
* Inventory control and costing
* Production cost determination (standard, actual, ABC)
* Variance and margin analysis
* Monthly and annual financial closings
**Tax Compliance**
* Calculation and filing of taxes (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings)
* Monthly and annual tax returns
* Liaison with tax audits and official requests
* Basic tax planning
**Financial Administration**
* Cash flow control
* Oversight of accounts payable and receivable
* Bank reconciliations
* Budget preparation and monitoring
* Relationship management with banks and suppliers
**Processes and Control**
* Implementation of internal controls
* Process automation
* KPI tracking (cash conversion cycle, days sales outstanding, accounting accuracy)
* Continuous improvement
**Reporting**
* Financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
* Executive reports
* Financial analysis for decision-making
**Team Management (if applicable)**
* Recruitment and training
* Supervision of accounting staff
* Performance monitoring
**Required Profile**
**Education**
* Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (degree conferred)
* Preferred specialization in taxation or finance
**Experience**
* 5–8 years in general accounting
* Experience in industry/manufacturing
* Experience structuring accounting departments
* Comprehensive knowledge of tax compliance requirements
**Technical Knowledge**
* Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and Mexican tax legislation
* Industrial costing
* ERP systems (SAP, Contpaq, Oracle, etc.)
* Advanced Excel

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Salary: $30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per month
