### **GENERAL ACCOUNTANT / MITSUBISHI QUERETARO** **OBJECTIVE** To understand and apply operational area processes within the accounting system according to the distributor's policies and procedures, applying financial reporting standards, with the purpose of delivering accounting results at the agency. This role will provide direct support to the administrative management team, maintaining an operational, results-oriented focus as well as a customer service and satisfaction orientation. **POSITION PROFILE** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting * Gender: Unrestricted * Age: 27 years or older * Marital status: Unrestricted * Proficiency in computer equipment and accounting ERP systems **POSITION REQUIREMENTS (EXPERIENCE):** * Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Accountant, preferably in the automotive industry. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Account reconciliation and cleansing * Knowledge of financial reporting standards * Internal controls * Tax calculation and filing, including informative tax declarations * Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations ### **FUNCTIONS / ACTIVITIES:** **1\.\-** Responsible for recording the distributor’s general accounting, journal entry posting, and application of intercompany transactions (transfers, shared expenses, etc.) **2\.\-** Reconciliation of revenue vs. SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service) **3\.\-** Reconciliation of new and used vehicle sales ledger **4\.\-** Bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) module reconciliations, and plant-related reconciliations **5\.\-** Physical inventory counts **6\.\-** Petty cash audits **7\.\-** Cleansing of balance sheet and income statement accounts **8\.\-** Accounting entries for payroll and commissions (biweekly and monthly) **9\.\-** General accounting, journal entry posting, and application of financing-related transactions **10\.\-** Generation and calculation of ISAN and other taxes arising from operations **11\.\-** Support during internal and tax audits **12\.\-** Responsible for supervising the safekeeping and organization of accounting documentation for subsequent review purposes **13\.\-** Upload accounting information to the corporate Google Drive **14\.\-** Review of used vehicle purchase files **15\.\-** Cancellation of fiscal folios **16\.\-** Compliance with plant and corporate training programs **17\.\-** Support for other activities (across other departments) STATUTORY BENEFITS QUERETARO ZONE WORKING HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 9 AM TO 7 PM
