Ensure availability, scalability, and security of web services A prominent Latin American company experiencing growth is seeking: Backend Tandem Developer ***Profile Details*** The Backend Tandem Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations that expose existing business logic on the NonStop/Tandem platform via SOAP \| REST web services as applicable. This includes modernizing legacy modules written in COBOL, C, and Java, ensuring their availability, scalability, and security for internal or external consumption. ***Essential Knowledge and Tools Required:*** ***Mandatory*** * 2\-3 years of experience with Tandem systems (Guardian, OSS, Pathway, Webgate) * Proficiency with JDK 11\+ * Programming languages: C, COBOL, Java SE * TAL, GUARDIAN * Debugging skills for serverclass/batch components on Tandem * Knowledge of SQLMP / SQLMX * Knowledge of SOAP/XML, REST/JSON ***Desirable*** * 3 years of experience in banking **INTERMEDIATE ENGLISH REQUIRED (will be assessed).** **If you are a foreign national residing in Mexico, you must hold valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC documents.** **Employment Type:** On-site. **Location:** Mexico City. **Salary:** $46,000 gross monthly. **Benefits:** Excellent and above-average benefits.
