Job Summary: We are seeking an Application Security Leader to ensure applications are developed and maintained to high security standards, integrating secure practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Highlights: 1. Implement and ensure secure application development practices 2. Conduct security assessments based on OWASP Top 10 3. Participate in key security initiatives with direct impact **Application Security Leader (AppSec / DevSecOps)** **Location:** Within Mexico (Remote Work) **Employment Type:** Initial 3-month contract, transitioning to indefinite-term **Job Objective** Ensure applications are developed, deployed, and maintained to high security standards by integrating security practices across the entire software development lifecycle. **Responsibilities** * Implement and ensure secure application development practices * Integrate vulnerability analysis into CI/CD pipelines * Administer code analysis and container scanning tools * Define security policies (authentication, encryption, secret management) * Conduct security assessments based on OWASP Top 10 * Manage security vulnerabilities and incidents **Requirements** **Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years in application security or Secure SDLC * Experience with OWASP Top 10 * Experience in secure code analysis * Experience in cloud security (AWS) * Experience working with CI/CD pipelines **Technical Knowledge** * Code analysis and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, Trivy, or similar) * Secure software development practices **Desirable** * Experience in DevSecOps **What We Offer** Opportunity to participate in key security initiatives with direct impact on protecting applications and critical processes within the organization. **How to Apply** Interested candidates, please apply through this channel with an updated CV.
