4GL Developer We are looking for a technical professional capable of analyzing, evaluating, and documenting complex business and technical processes, with experience in legacy environments (4GL), scheduled processes, and automation. Required Technical Skills: Experience working with 4GL languages (Progress, Informix 4GL, etc.) Proficiency in Shell scripting on Linux/Unix environments. Knowledge of SQL / Stored Procedures (ideally on SQL Server, Oracle, or Informix). Knowledge of T\-SQL Experience with batch or scheduled processes (e.g.: cronjobs, Control\-M, or others). Ability to clearly and systematically document technical processes and business rules. Soft Skills: Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Ability to understand and model complex processes. Strong oral and written communication skills to interact with technical and functional users. Proactivity and autonomy in task execution. English: Not required, but ability to read technical documentation or handle basic email communication is valued. Main Responsibilities: Analyze and document existing technical processes: Jobs, shells, scheduled processes, stored procedures, and 4GL code. Evaluate and understand business rules embedded in the code. Extract and systematize business rules for documentation and future system evolution. Identify dependencies among processes, automated tasks, and scheduled executions. Collaborate with functional and development teams to clarify requirements and propose improvements. What do we offer?
