Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Senior Shopify Developer to join a multidisciplinary team, developing and optimizing Shopify stores with a focus on innovative and scalable solutions. Performance and user experience optimization for Shopify stores We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to join our Software team in a hybrid arrangement based in Querétaro, responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores of medium-to-high complexity, ensuring functional, scalable solutions aligned with each project’s requirements. We are an agency with over 8 years of experience in digital marketing and technological development, with national presence and global clients. We work with recognized brands across diverse sectors and are passionate about creating innovative digital solutions. Our team consists of more than 60 multidisciplinary professionals collaborating remotely from various parts of the country, although our headquarters are located in Querétaro. We seek proactive, analytical, results-oriented individuals with a passion for web development and continuous improvement. **Ideal Candidate Profile:** The ideal candidate is a professional with solid experience in Shopify store development and advanced functionality customization, capable of building efficient and scalable solutions using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, estimate development timelines, and independently resolve technical issues. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Additionally, they stay updated on Shopify trends and improvements, APIs, and integrations, continuously seeking to optimize performance and user experience for each project. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Systems, Software, Computer Science, or related field * Solid experience developing Shopify stores **(mandatory)** * Advanced “Core” Shopify knowledge * Advanced proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript * Experience integrating APIs into Shopify * Experience developing custom applications and functionalities in Shopify * Experience managing multiple projects or accounts simultaneously * Experience estimating project timelines and complexity * Knowledge of web optimization (speed, SEO, and code refactoring) * Experience collaborating with design and development teams * Familiarity with Figma or Zeplin (desirable) * Intermediate English **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores according to each client’s specific requirements * Create and modify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build functional and visually appealing interfaces * Implement advanced and custom functionalities within Shopify * Integrate third-party APIs and services such as CRM, payment methods, marketing tools, and shipping providers * Optimize store performance, speed, and user experience on Shopify * Collaborate with the design team to implement responsive and functional interfaces * Resolve bugs and technical issues with a focus on code quality and stability * Participate in technical meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure goal achievement * Develop advanced features for shopping carts, custom discounts, shipping methods, and payments * Address technical requirements and propose efficient solutions for each development * Provide technical support and ongoing maintenance for production stores **We Offer:** * Statutory benefits * Indefinite-term contract * Excellent work environment * Team-building activities * MacBook or Windows equipment and operating system * Maternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Paternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Birthday day off * Eyeglass financial assistance * Continuous training * Profit-sharing (PTU) distribution **Work Schedule and Location:** * Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM * Av.
