




Position Summary: Provide support for in-store operational activities including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to meet the store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. Be part of a team that values dedication Support in-store floor operational activities by executing established AutoZone operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in delivery trucks, adhering to applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise and participate in opening/closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities—ensuring correct product placement and overall store presentation. * Assist customers by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—delivering excellent service reflected in front-counter sales closures; also handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions—including cash and card payments—and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash-handling policies to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction completion. * High school diploma or equivalent completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general helper. * Customer service experience is preferred.
