SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Support store operational activities—including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—to meet performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in merchandise stocking and presentation. 2. Provide excellent customer service and clarify product-related questions. 3. Execute cash register transactions and process returns. Support in-store floor operational activities by adhering to AutoZone’s established operational processes for sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks according to applicable stocking guidelines. * Implement correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing tasks as well as sales floor cleaning activities—ensuring accurate merchandise placement and overall store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—delivering outstanding service reflected in front-counter sales closures; handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions (cash or card), and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s point-of-sale payment policies—ensuring effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
