Learn more at www.hbfuller.com. **General Job Description** The Maintenance Operator is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of chemical processing equipment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. This position is essential to minimize unplanned downtime, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a chemical manufacturing environment. **Primary Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, mixers, reactors, and other chemical process equipment. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to restore equipment functionality. * Support installation, calibration, and alignment of new or upgraded equipment. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). * Comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards during all maintenance tasks. * Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize production interruptions. * Monitor equipment performance and report anomalies to the supervisor. * Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance without affecting operations. * Manage spare parts inventory and request replenishment when necessary. * Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and efficiency. **Minimum Requirements** * Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance. * 3\+ years of maintenance experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry. * Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in chemical processes. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and equipment manuals. * Basic computer skills for CMMS usage and data entry. * Availability to work onsite in Monterrey, Mexico. **Preferred Requirements** * Experience with SAP PM or other ERP systems. * Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM). * Basic English (reading and writing). * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety. *H.B.
