We invite you to participate in our challenge as an Instrumentation Technician. **PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:** The primary function of the Instrumentation and Control Technician is to execute and oversee productive tasks related to diagnosis, repair, installation, assembly, and maintenance of instruments and control systems. This includes analysis and resolution of problems, installation and repair of installed instrumentation, application of cutting-edge technology integration, and automatic process control at the Topolobampo Refined Products Terminal, in compliance with safety, environmental, and Integrated Management System (IMS) technical and international standards and procedures, according to the Company’s business plan. The Instrumentation and Control Technician performs all activities required for the proper operation of installed instrumentation and control systems at the terminal to ensure continuous and reliable operation meeting all safety, environmental, and industry-specific requirements. Develops and tests components and elements within the systems supported on-site. Contributes to the support and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and other products. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Responsibilities oriented toward IMS: 1\.\- Know and supervise the dissemination and communication of the IMS policy, mission, and vision; support the implementation of IMS changes and improvements within the business unit. 2\.\- Know and apply updates and changes to IMS documentation applicable to their position and process within the business unit. 3\.\- Participate proactively in IMS-related training assigned according to their job profile, with attendance evidence and passing evaluations. Responsibilities oriented toward Safety and Health: 1\.\- Know and supervise the implementation of applicable operational controls for routine and non-routine construction and office activities of the Company and strategic partners, in accordance with the authorized hazards and risks matrix of the business unit. (examples of operational controls: COVID\-19 logs, AST, work permits, PPE per job position, vital signs logs, breathalyzer tests, attendance lists for safety talks, machinery and equipment inspection logs, DC\-3 for operators and high-risk work, preliminary reports, ACR reports, records and forms used in each construction procedure and specific safety and health procedures—both must be reviewed and validated by the Company’s specialist personnel, etc.) 2\.\- Communicate and report all incidents to incorporate lessons learned into management systems and corporate expectations. 3\.\- Report any unsafe acts and/or conditions observed among personnel and business unit processes. 4\.\- Comply with safety and health principles and rules within the business unit. 5\.\- Participate in mandatory safety and health training, including IMS instructions, according to the authorized training matrix, with attendance evidence and applicable passing evaluations within the business unit. 6\.\- Know and participate in preventive measures and controls outlined in the business unit’s Emergency Response Plan (ERP). 7\.\- Ensure safe work practices and appropriate preventive measures for people, facilities, and processes within the business unit. 8\.\- Comply with COVID\-19 protocols and complete the health declaration and daily log registration in the business unit. 9\.\- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and safety and health requirements, according to the authorized regulatory requirements matrix of the business unit. 10\.\- Execute and supervise order and cleanliness at all times in their process and across the entire business unit. 11\.\- Support achievement of the business unit’s IMS safety and health indicators. 12\.\- Know tools and initiatives aimed at improving employee well-being within the business unit. 13\.\- Use the 5-minute safety talk manual to conduct daily 5-minute safety talks with business unit personnel at the start of shifts or opening of meetings. 14\. Supervise compliance with safety and health guidelines by strategic partners assigned to the business unit. 15\.\- Voluntarily participate in emergency brigade activities and the business unit’s Safety and Hygiene Committee. Responsibilities oriented toward Environment: 1\.\- Know and supervise the implementation of applicable operational controls for routine and non-routine construction and office activities, in accordance with the authorized environmental aspects and impacts matrix of the business unit. (examples of operational controls: waste control logs, final disposal manifests, hazardous material storage logs, RPBI, machinery and equipment maintenance programs, maintenance records and evidence, vehicle and machinery spill kit inspections, applicable permits, records and forms used in each construction procedure and specific environmental procedures—both must be reviewed and validated by the Company’s specialist personnel, etc.) 2\.\- Know and comply with the business unit’s environmental regulation. 3\.\- Know and supervise correct waste segregation according to the classification established in the business unit. 4\.\- Maintain order and cleanliness across all construction and office processes within the business unit. 5\.\- Participate in environmental training according to the authorized training matrix, with attendance evidence and applicable passing evaluations within the business unit. 6\. Supervise compliance with environmental guidelines by strategic partners assigned to the business unit. 7\.\- Comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and requirements, according to the authorized regulatory requirements matrix of the business unit. 8\.\- Support achievement of the business unit’s IMS environmental indicators. 9\.\- Contribute and support information delivery for weekly IMS reports to the IMS Project Management team and corporate IMS department. Responsibilities oriented toward Quality: 1\.\- Know and permanently supervise quality control and assurance topics: verifying that field-used construction procedures are the latest version and approving process execution; preparing daily supervision reports; verifying valid calibration certificates and labels for used equipment; records and forms used in each construction procedure and specific quality control procedures—both must be reviewed and validated by the Company’s specialist personnel, etc. 2\.\- Participate in quality control and assurance training according to the authorized training matrix, with attendance evidence and applicable passing evaluations within the business unit. 3\.\- Supervise that equipment and materials received in the business unit meet technical specifications requested by the Company and strategic partners. 4\.\- Report any noncompliance or deviation from construction procedures, quality procedures, or document control to the IMS Project Management team and corporate IMS department. 5\.\- Support delivery of information to quality supervision weekly, submitting the weekly progress report on nonconformities, opportunities for improvement, and review commitments by the business unit’s management. 6\. Supervise compliance with environmental guidelines by strategic partners assigned to the business unit. 7\.\- Support achievement of the business unit’s IMS quality control indicators.
