Education: Minimum junior high school diploma. **Proven experience in this position.** **Availability for overtime.** **Plant located in Torreón.** We seek a responsible driver to perform local and out-of-town deliveries, ensuring safe transportation of goods and on-time delivery. When no scheduled trips are available, the candidate will support operational activities within the warehouse and plant. * Valid driver's license. * Proven driving experience, preferably in **goods transportation and out-of-town routes**. * Familiarity with the city and navigation skills on **highways, freeways, and national routes**. * Availability to undertake out-of-town trips. * Experience operating cargo vehicles. * Basic automotive mechanical knowledge (preferred). * Experience in **loading and unloading goods**. * Handling delivery documentation (invoices, delivery notes, logs). **Responsibilities:** * Receive, verify, and cross-check goods against dispatch orders, invoices, and related documentation prior to loading. * Safely transport goods to local and out-of-town customers, adhering to assigned routes and established delivery times. * Support courier or parcel services as needed. * Deliver products, ensuring integrity, quality, and safety throughout the entire transportation process. * Collect customer seals, signatures, and/or delivery evidence on official documents (delivery notes, invoices, delivery orders). * Perform and participate in loading and unloading operations, including vehicle positioning, ensuring proper arrangement, stacking, and safeguarding of products according to safety and operational guidelines. * Manage returns, rejections, or delivery incidents, promptly reporting them to the relevant department. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checklist) to ensure optimal operating conditions. * Maintain the vehicle in appropriate conditions of cleanliness, order, and hygiene, especially in cargo areas. * Carry out basic preventive maintenance (fluid levels, tires, cleaning, etc.) and promptly report mechanical failures. * Verify that the vehicle possesses valid documentation (license, insurance, registration card, inspections, etc.). * Plan delivery routes considering time, distance, traffic conditions, and applicable regulations. * Administer per diems, tolls, and travel expenses in accordance with company policies. * Comply with traffic regulations, road safety standards, and driving time limits (especially on long-distance trips). * Maintain constant communication with the logistics department or supervision during transportation. * Manage and safeguard trip documentation (loading orders, logs, delivery receipts, per diems). * Record trip logs, mileage, fuel consumption, and relevant events. * Submit complete documentation to the corresponding administrative department on time and as required. * Support loading, unloading, arranging, and picking of goods within the warehouse. * Assist in labeling, packaging, and order preparation. * Collaborate in maintaining order, cleanliness, and adherence to good practices within the work area. * Apply good hygiene and food handling practices during loading, transportation, and unloading. * Support additional operational activities within production or administrative departments when no trips are scheduled. * Execute tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor aligned with the company’s operational needs.
