Digitalization Intern for Industrial Safety

**Job Description** We are seeking emerging talent to join our Industrial Safety team as an Intern, supporting digitalization initiatives within the Safety 360 hub. This position is ideal for students interested in combining **industrial safety** with digital technologies, participating in automation projects, data analytics, and continuous improvement within a global manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the execution and tracking of **Safety 360** projects. * Administration and updating of **security databases, dashboards, and digital repositories**. * Generation of **reports, executive presentations, and technical documentation**. * Data validation, cleaning, and standardization. * Support for **automation and digitalization initiatives**. * Participation in projects using tools such as: + Power Apps + Power Automate + SQL + Dataverse + AI solutions * Tracking action plans, testing, and deployment of solutions. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on continuous improvement topics. **Requirements:** * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate academic program (semester or quarter); graduation expected in **December 2026 or later** * Intermediate conversational English proficiency * Valid optional insurance **Field of Study:** Computer Systems Engineering, Data Science, Software Development, or related discipline. **Preferred Experience and Skills:** * AI tools, SQL, Python, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse "GM does not provide support or sponsorship for legal immigration-related documentation.
