Collaborative role with various financial areas **Title:** **Accounting Analyst** **Type:** Full Time **Function:** Finance **Reporting line:** Accounting Supervisor **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** This role is crucial to ensure the accuracy of financial records, streamline accounting operations, and support the consolidation activities (diffent ERPs). * Journal Entries: Prepare, calculate, and post complex journal entries accurately and in a timely manner. * Financial Reporting: Review and analize financial data in OneStream, ensuring accuracy and completeness. * Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare reconciliations or review and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. * Intracompany reconciliation, analysis and reporting of aged items. * Accounting Data analysis: Manage large amount of data for accounting consolidation and reporting from different ERP systems. * Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing current processes and implement improvements to optimize accounting consolidation processes and enhance financial controls. * Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all GL accounting practices comply with relevant regulations and internal controls. * Support and assistance to both internal and external audits; perform SOX self\-testing as per requirements * Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Taxes, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and Inventory areas to resolve accounting issues, provide insights, and support financial consolidation. * Ensure compliance with company policies \& procedures. **REQUIREMENTS:** Skills / Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. National or International accounting certification is preferred * At least 3 years of experience in GL accounting or relevant finance roles, with a strong background in accounting and reporting; US GAAP knowledge is a plus * Compliance and Ethics: In\-depth understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls, with a strong commitment to maintaining ethical practices and confidentiality * Technical Expertise: Proficiency in using ERP system (SAP) and financial consolidation tools such as OneStream. Strong Excel skills are essential (macrodata management) * Excellent English skills – written \+ verbal; any other language will be a plus * Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities, with a keen attention to details. * Flexibility and speed of execution * Experience in consolidation processes.
