Job Summary: Own and execute MRP/MPS processes, manage purchasing, balance inventory and service levels, and lead cross-functional alignment in a manufacturing environment. Key Highlights: 1. Cross-functional leadership and communication Description and details of responsibilities **Core Responsibilities** *MRP / MPS Planning Ownership* * Own execution and integrity of MRP and MPS processes, translating demand into executable production, purchasing, and replenishment plans * Maintain and continuously improve planning parameters including lead times, safety stock, reorder points, order multiples, and planning horizons * Lead planning including MRP runs, exception reviews, shortage analysis, and recovery planning * Identify material, capacity, or lead\-time constraints and develop resolution scenarios with clear tradeoffs *Purchasing Execution \& Supplier Leadership* * Execute and manage purchase orders for production materials and MRO items in alignment with approved supply plans and sourcing strategies *Inventory, Cost \& Business Judgment* * Balance service levels, inventory exposure, and working capital through disciplined planning and purchasing decisions *Cross\-Functional Leadership \& Communication* * Partner with Operations, Sales, Warehouse, Customer Service, and Finance to align plans with execution realities *Systems, Data \& Process Leadership* * Serve as senior power user and functional owner of planning and purchasing processes within the ERP system *Key Performance Indicators* * MRP plan quality and execution follow\-through Experience and Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field * 6–8\+ years of progressive experience in combined planning and purchasing roles within manufacturing * Strong hands\-on expertise in MRP/MPS\-driven planning and buying * Experience working with global suppliers and long lead times * ERP proficiency (Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar) * Proven ability to assess tradeoffs and make sound decisions under pressure * APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) * Bilingual (English / Spanish) Benefits * Benefits according to the Federal Labor Law (LFT) **Number of vacancies** 1 **Department** Materials **Employment type** Permanent **Work modality** On-site **Shift** Day **Working hours** Full-time **Schedule*** Monday to Friday **Education** Bachelor's degree with professional title **English** Spoken: Advanced, Written: Advanced **Willingness to travel** No
