Job Description and Responsibilities **General Purpose of the Position** Oversee, direct, and ensure comprehensive execution of the company’s planning process, guaranteeing timely material availability, feasibility of the master production schedule, and on-time, in-full fulfillment of customer commitments within a highly dynamic and changing operational environment. The Planning Superintendent will be responsible for leading the Planning Department with a strategic and execution-oriented vision focused on results, ensuring agile responses to changes in demand, customer priorities, capacity constraints, materials, or internal resources. This role must act as an integrator across Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Warehouse, Quality, Customer Service, and other supporting departments—achieving agreements, commitments, and concrete actions to sustain the production plan and service level. This position requires a bold profile with a strong sense of urgency, operational creativity, robust negotiation and influence skills, and a pronounced orientation toward solving complex problems—transforming customer requirements into executable and deliverable plans. Experience and Requirements * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Technologies, or a related field. * A postgraduate degree or specialization in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or administration is desirable. **Experience** * Solid experience in production planning, materials planning, scheduling, or supply chain within the maquiladora industry. * Experience in metal-mechanical companies, discrete manufacturing, or production environments with high product mix and variability. * Prior experience leading planning teams or related departments. * Experience working in high-pressure environments with frequent priority shifts and strong customer focus. * Cross-functional experience in purchasing, costing, manufacturing, process engineering, shop-floor control, and logistics is desirable. * Experience with ERP systems and planning tools. **Technical Knowledge** * Master Production Scheduling (MPS) * Production Scheduling * Materials and Inventory Management * MRP / ERP * Installed Capacity and Load Balancing * Order Control and Critical Path Tracking * Advanced Excel and Data Handling * Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Operational Analysis * Budgeting, Business Analysis, and Supply Chain * Familiarity with Epicor, SQL, Microsoft tools, and project management software is desirable * Training in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is desirable * In-depth knowledge of Power BI is highly desirable * Strong, results-oriented leadership * High negotiation and influencing capability * Sense of urgency * Outstanding planning and organizational skills * Decision-making under pressure * Analytical thinking and structured approach * Creativity in solving operational problems * Effective verbal and written communication * Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams * Rigorous follow-up and disciplined execution * Adaptability to changing environments * Focus on both internal and external customers * Persistence in removing obstacles and securing commitments Benefits * Benefits in accordance with the Federal Labor Law (LFT) **Number of Vacancies** 1 **Department** Materials **Employment Type** Permanent **Work Mode** On-site **Shift** Day Shift **Working Hours** Full-time **Education Required** Bachelor’s degree with professional title **Willingness to Travel** No
