*This job posting comes from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Job Opening at SSITEL in Guelatao \- Iztapalapa, Mexico City** **MAJOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY,** **SEEKING: PROJECT MANAGER WITH 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS** **REQUIREMENTS:** EDUCATION: UNIVERSITY DEGREE WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL INTERMEDIATE ENGLISH PROFICIENCY PREFERRED **KNOWLEDGE:** * Database analysis and operational cost assessment. * Regulations governing fiber optic construction and installation for internal and external infrastructure. * Labor regulations applicable to safety. * Blueprint interpretation. * International color coding standards. * Operation of standard and automatic transmission vehicles. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Organize, plan, and execute projects by leading the team to achieve client-defined objectives until project completion. * Develop a detailed action plan including specific tasks required to meet project goals. * Identify potential risks arising during project execution and implement necessary mitigation measures. This includes identifying possible issues and developing contingency plans to address them. * Clearly define project objectives (goals and deadlines) and ensure all team members fully understand them. * Organize all tasks required to complete the project, assign and distribute them among team members, establish priorities, and ensure adherence to scheduled deadlines. * Monitor available resources and tools for the project team. * Manage budgets, identify suppliers, and select appropriate tools and software for the project. * Leading and motivating the project team is not an easy task. * Ensure each team member clearly understands their role and responsibilities. * Resolve any problems or conflicts that may arise among team members. * Resolve conflicts that may emerge during project execution. * Mediate between team members with differing opinions, conflicts with suppliers or clients, task delays, or communication issues. * Supervise the work of all departments involved in the project, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with required quality standards, as well as client preferences or requirements. * The Project Manager serves as the primary client contact and must maintain active, clear communication. This may include progress updates (daily, weekly, or monthly), identification of issues or deviations, and resolution of any problems that arise. * Support the development of skills and capabilities of each team member, fostering their professional maturity and growth. * Responsibilities may include identifying training and development opportunities or delegating tasks to various team members. * Leads and coordinates all activities required to successfully execute a project. To do so, the candidate must possess competencies and knowledge in areas such as planning, risk management, task organization, team management, and effective client communication, among others. **WORK SCHEDULE:** * Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:30 hrs., and Saturday, 09:00–12:00 hrs. **WORK LOCATION:** Iztapalapa.
