Job Summary: We are seeking an engineer with experience in construction supervision, focused on critical electrical systems and project coordination. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the supervision of critical electrical systems in construction projects. 2. Ensure proper installation of grounding and lightning protection systems. 3. Coordinate civil works for electrical preparations. Education: Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, etc. Experience: 3 years of verifiable and certifiable experience in construction projects with similar or greater complexity, carried out for public or private sectors. Execution of Critical Systems: Supervise installation of substations, emergency power plants, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. Healthcare Areas: Oversee installation of isolation panels and insulation monitoring systems in operating rooms, intensive care units (ICUs), and delivery rooms. Grounding and Lightning Protection Systems: Guarantee correct installation and measurement of grounding networks for sensitive medical equipment and atmospheric discharge protection. Conduits and Cabling: Supervise installation of conduit piping (thick/thin wall), wire mesh cable trays, and branch circuit wiring complying with regulatory color-coding standards. Field Electrical Testing: Perform and document continuity tests, insulation resistance tests (meggering), ground impedance measurements, and circuit breaker trip tests. Coordination with Civil Works: Ensure preparations, embedments, and slab penetrations are completed prior to concrete pouring to avoid subsequent chiseling. Software: Proficiency in BIM 4D (Navisworks or Synchro) for time-based construction process simulation.
