Position Summary: This position involves welding, inspection, and finishing of parts; maintaining the work area; and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in micro-wire welding (GMAW) and air carbon arc gouging. 2. Participation in Kaizen events and continuous improvement. 3. Operation of equipment such as hoists or cranes for positioning and flipping parts. **Job Description** **JOB DETAILS** **Daily Salary $513\.33** **Schedule: Monday to Friday** **Rotating every 2 weeks: Day Shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm \- Night Shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Verify full PPE compliance before entering the plant. * Attend daily safety meetings. * Check pending parts at the workstation, verifying quantity and part type. * Position parts on the workstation using a hoist or crane, depending on part size/weight. * Regularly inspect the welding nozzle for cleanliness; clean if contaminated with grease using pointed pliers to remove slag and prevent clogging. * Weld missing sections and flip parts using the crane or hoist to weld the opposite side. * Arc gouge defective areas (e.g., porosity) on both sides using air carbon arc gouging and carbon rods, then clean the part with an air hammer and re-weld. * Polish defective areas (e.g., excess weld) using grinding tools and clean the part with an air hammer. * Manually replace welding wire spools when depleted. * Mark completed parts using stamped letters or codes indicating the welder’s identifier. * Place finished parts using the hoist or crane alongside the workbenches. * Implement the 5S methodology \= Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain. * Substitute for crane operators to supply parts to welders and painters. * Participate in Kaizen or continuous improvement events. **Requirements** * Must be of legal age. * Completed secondary education. * Experience with micro-wire welding (GMAW). * Air carbon arc gouging. * Welding with 0\.45 and 0\.52 wire diameters. * Flexible availability for shift scheduling. **Additional Information** **Address:** ROGELIO GONZALEZ CABALLERO 600, PARQUE INDUSTRIAL STIVA, 66626 CD APODACA,N.L.
