Job Profile: Warehouse Assistant
**Job Objective:**
Ensure the accurate receipt, storage, custody, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products, guaranteeing inventory accuracy and compliance with the company’s safety and hygiene standards.
1\. Key Responsibilities
* **Goods Receipt:**
* Verify that received supplies (chemicals, containers, labels) match the purchase order and supplier invoice in quantity and specifications.
* Visually inspect goods for damage (e.g., leaks, broken packaging, contamination).
* **Inventory Control and Recording:**
* Immediately record material receipts and withdrawals in the physical or digital inventory control system (Kardex / ERP).
* Actively participate in cyclic counts and monthly/annual physical inventory audits.
* **Storage and Organization (PEPS / FIFO):**
* Arrange goods in designated areas using the **PEPS** (First-In, First-Out) system to prevent expiration of raw materials or other supplies.
* Maintain the warehouse under required conditions of order, cleanliness, and segregation (e.g., separate chemical reagents from secondary packaging materials).
* **Picking for Production:**
* Timely and accurately fulfill work orders (W.O.) requested by the production or laboratory departments, ensuring no material is released without proper documentation.
* **Logistics for Finished Products:**
* Prepare and pack finished product orders for distribution or customer delivery, ensuring correct labeling of boxes or pallets.
2\. Activities Under Quality Standards (ISO 9001 / BPM)
* **Identification and Traceability:** Ensure every raw material batch is clearly labeled with its status (e.g., *In Quarantine*, *Approved*, *Rejected*) per Quality Control determinations.
* **Deviation Control:** Immediately report any anomalies, such as damaged raw materials, inventory discrepancies, or unsuitable environmental conditions (humidity/temperature) affecting supplies.
* **Safety:** Adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for handling and stacking chemical substances.
3\. Required Profile and Competencies
* **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years in manufacturing warehouses (preferably in chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food sectors).
* **Technical Skills:**
* Basic proficiency in Office software (Excel for stock control) or inventory management systems.
* Familiarity with warehouse tools (hydraulic pallet jack, precision scales for weighing supplies).
* **Soft Skills:**
* Strong sense of order and organization.
* Honesty and attention to detail (essential to avoid errors in codes and batch numbers).
* Proactivity and teamwork.
