***Job Objective***
Perform the **surface polishing and finishing of utensil-line metal furniture**, ensuring that parts meet **quality, aesthetic, hygiene, and safety standards**, in accordance with **matte 2P and PV3 finishes**, guaranteeing their proper release for inspection and delivery as finished products.
***Duties and Responsibilities***
**Furniture Polishing and Finishing:**
* Polish metal furniture parts and components (structures, surfaces, accessories).
* Correctly apply **matte 2P and PV3 finishes**.
* Select and appropriately use **sandpapers, abrasive discs, polishing pastes, and manual and electric tools.**
* Remove scratches, weld marks, burrs, and surface defects.
* Ensure uniformity in texture, appearance, and final finish.
**Quality and Process Control:**
* Conduct **self-visual inspection** prior to releasing the part.
* Verify that furniture meets the required finish level, cleanliness, and absence of visible defects.
* Immediately report non-conforming parts or detected damage.
* Support the Quality department during authorized reviews or rework.
**Order, Cleanliness, and Safety:**
* Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace.
* Properly wear **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**.
* Handle polishing waste and consumables appropriately.
* Comply with internal industrial safety and hygiene regulations.
**Operational Support:**
* Assist with deburring and cleaning activities when required by the process.
* Meet established standard production times.
* Collaborate with welding, assembly, and finishing teams to ensure continuous furniture flow.
**Working Conditions:**
* Standing work throughout the shift.
* Exposure to noise, metallic dust, and vibration (with PPE).
* Continuous handling of electric tools.
***Job Requirements***
**Education:** Completed primary or secondary school (preferred).
**Experience:**
* Minimum **1 year of experience in metal furniture or structural polishing**.
* Experience with matte finishes (2P and PV3\), preferably on stainless steel.
**Knowledge:**
* Types of metal finishes.
* Polishing techniques for furniture.
* Identification of surface defects.
* Good manufacturing practices.
* Use of polishing tools.
