Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Silao, Guanajuato Job Requirements: 1\. Engineering or technical degree (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or related field) 2\. Equivalent to 1 year of industrial maintenance experience. 3\. Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams. 4\. Knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance, gearboxes, compressors, pumps, directional valves, heat exchangers, compressed air distribution networks, water, natural gas, nitrogen, as well as lubrication, among others. 5\. Ability to perform cutting and welding, as well as general knowledge of machining. 6\. Proficiency in using mechanical testing equipment such as vibration analyzers, leveling tools, alignment instruments, hardness testers, etc., as well as measuring and handling tolerances in mechanical parts. 7\. Knowledge of rigging, load handling, and lifting operations. Job Responsibilities: 1\. The Shift Mechanical Engineer is responsible for prioritizing \#1 based on NJSM’s Safety Culture and environmental preservation. 2\. Responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on equipment to ensure production line reliability. 3\. Personnel must be capable of operating mobile equipment (forklifts, platforms, cranes, etc.) and must possess knowledge of load lifting techniques. 4\. This position requires shift rotation, willingness to cover other shifts, unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary. 5\. Duties include maintenance of power transmission systems, couplings, motors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and all components present in process equipment. 6\. Work must be performed with quality and cleanliness, based on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). 7\. Participate in quality and continuous improvement activities, collaborating in multidisciplinary teams for problem analysis and resolution. 8\.
