Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Equipment Maintenance Technician. **What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Job Summary** This position is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, availability, and safety of equipment and machinery through preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, thereby supporting operational continuity and compliance with quality and safety standards. **Job Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic failures. * Execute timely repairs to minimize downtime. * Maintain records of maintenance activities, failures, and repairs performed. * Adhere to established maintenance schedules. * Verify proper equipment functionality following interventions. * Request spare parts and tools required for repairs. * Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment optimization projects. * Support internal and external audits related to maintenance. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area (5S). **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Education Level Required** * Technical diploma / Engineering degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related field. **Years and Area of Experience Required** * 2 years of experience in Industrial Equipment Maintenance. \#LI\-MB2 **Technical Knowledge** Mechanics, industrial electricity and basic control, pneumatics and hydraulics, use of hand and power tools, reading of electrical and mechanical diagrams, preventive maintenance programs, industrial safety standards. **Soft Skills:** ---------------- * Problem analysis and resolution * Teamwork * Organization and follow-up * Attention to detail * Sense of urgency * Effective communication * Proactivity and accountability. **Additional Information:** --------------------------- **Organizational Chart** Supervisor: Engineering Manager Functional Manager (if applicable): N/A Incumbent (if applicable): Equipment Maintenance Technician Peers (if applicable): 2 Direct Reports (if applicable): N/A Indirect/Functional Reports (if applicable): N/A **Dimensions** Scope of Responsibilities: Local, regional, etc. Local Record any measurable statistics which the position impacts\*\* Equipment availability, Preventive maintenance compliance, Safety standards compliance.
