Fabricate, assemble, or modify furniture according to operational needs **Job Description** ------------------- **JOB DESCRIPTION** Perform preventive, corrective, and improvement carpentry work in guest rooms, public areas, and hotel furniture, ensuring all wooden structures and finishes remain in optimal aesthetic and functional condition, thereby enhancing the guest experience and preserving the hotel’s heritage. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** * Perform repairs and maintenance on doors, closets, furniture, frames, moldings, wooden floors, and other carpentry elements. * Fabricate, assemble, or modify furniture according to the hotel’s operational needs. * Apply finishes such as sanding, varnishing, painting, or sealing to wooden surfaces. * Conduct periodic inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify damage or wear on carpentry elements. * Address carpentry-related maintenance reports through the ASGARD system, ensuring proper execution and closure. * Coordinate with the Supervisor and Maintenance Assistant for work scheduling and efficient use of materials. * Maintain order in the carpentry workshop, tools, and materials. * Comply with safety and hygiene protocols when operating machinery and handling chemical products. **POSITION SPECIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION:** Completed secondary education.
