Job Summary: This Process Engineer position is responsible for managing engineering releases—from design download through material procurement—and optimizing manufacturing processes. Location: **Arteaga** Req ID: **29143** Responsibilities * Process engineering releases, download designs, process, and procure required materials. + Receive, download, and record engineering releases in the tracking document. + Generate material release for Fori Mexico. + Generate manufacturing documents (IGS, PDF). + Analyze designs to determine optimal cutting, fabrication, and/or machining processes. + Perform material requirement analysis and submit purchase requests and/or execute purchases as applicable per Purchasing Department regulations. + Print designs and deliver them to the production floor. + Propose to Engineering alternative material, fabrication, or machining improvements; generate options when the design cannot be fulfilled by domestic market supply or due to equipment unavailability. + Maintain records of material release processing progress. + Prepare cutting files for waterjet or pantograph cutting machines as needed. + Maintain material inventory control and track material arrival. + Report required components for engineering modifications to Commercial Purchasing. + Support resolution of technical questions from Production and machining suppliers. + Communicate engineering changes to involved departments, internal and/or external customers.
