Position Summary: Server responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through fast, accurate, and personalized service while maintaining the resort’s high standards. Key Highlights: 1. Accurately take orders and promptly and safely serve food and beverages. Your role is to ensure guest satisfaction by delivering service aligned with the resort’s standards. **As a Server, you will be responsible for:** * Knowing all food and beverage menus prepared and offered to guests, to provide appropriate recommendations to diners. * Performing front- and/or back-of-house duties across various dining venues according to assigned schedules and shifts. * Anticipating and addressing guests’ potential needs. * Ensuring the workstation is fully equipped, clean, and stocked with required tableware, glassware, flatware, and linens prior to the start of each shift. * Being knowledgeable about daily specials and out-of-stock items. * Assisting at all times with plating service and carrying soiled trays to the designated scullery area for cleaning. * Ensuring proper use of all work equipment and service areas. * Setting tables according to established service standards. * Knowing how to prepare specialty beverages and wines. * Efficiently operating the resort’s POS system. * Responding accurately—either generally or specifically—to any guest inquiries regarding Food & Beverage service or the resort. * Delivering courteous and personalized service to guests, strictly adhering to resort standards. * Following procedures and policies when issues arise. * Attending all departmental meetings and training sessions as scheduled. * Managing inventory replenishment from the warehouse to fulfill restaurant supply requisitions, and submitting copies of fulfilled requisitions to the Cost Department or the Shift Supervisor. * Preparing food in front of guests, consistently following hygiene and presentation standards. * Assisting with monthly inventories (food, beverages, and operational equipment) under the supervision of the Cost Manager. * Managing the petty cash fund for the assigned point-of-sale outlet. * Handling billing and closing guest checks. **To succeed in this role, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:** * Technical education * Academic certificates, minimum secondary school level * 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry **The following capabilities and distinctions would be advantageous in this position:** * Familiarity with operational equipment, glassware, and their proper usage. * Experience with digital systems. * Knowledge of beverage preparation. * Knowledge of wines and food pairing. * Proficiency in English (50% or more, both written and spoken).
