**Subject Instructor \| Industrial Networks** **About the Role** In this role, you will develop students’ ability to design, configure, evaluate, and implement industrial communication network architectures, ensuring secure, efficient, and real-time information flow among the various components comprising automated mechatronic systems. **Your Key Challenges:** * Identify and differentiate major industrial communication topologies and protocols based on technical requirements and process speed needs. * Develop skills for analyzing and detecting faults in industrial communication channels using software-based traffic analysis tools and hardware diagnostic tools. * Foster complex automation problem-solving among course participants through hands-on projects involving hybrid networks and emerging communication technologies. * Define objectives, content, teaching methods, and assessment criteria. * Organize educational resources and timeframes. **Profile We Seek:** **Essential Requirements:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree / engineering degree in mechatronics or related field, plus professional license. * Experience: 2–3 years of combined teaching and professional experience in the field. **Desirable Qualifications:** * A master’s degree in a related field is desirable. * Familiarity with platforms such as Teams, Blackboard, or similar. * Key competencies: digital and technological proficiency; ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and conflict resolution skills; capacity to design classes that foster critical thinking, creativity, and active participation. **Your Impact at UVM** At Universidad del Valle de México, we educate well-rounded individuals for fulfilling lives and a better world.
