**Subject Instructor \| Embedded Electronic Systems and Automotive Control** **About the Role** In this role, you will develop in students the competencies required to design, program, integrate, and validate embedded electronic systems and automotive control algorithms, ensuring compliance with functional safety, efficiency, and connectivity standards demanded by the global automotive industry. **Your Key Challenges:** * Understand the internal architecture of automotive electronic control units, their specific microcontrollers, and hardware constraints in vehicle operating environments. * Configure and diagnose in-vehicle communication networks to ensure secure, real-time data exchange among different modules. * Develop and implement closed-loop control strategies for critical vehicle systems. * Define objectives, content, teaching methods, and assessment criteria. * Organize educational resources and timelines. **Profile We Are Seeking:** **Essential Requirements:** * Education: Bachelor’s degree / engineering degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, along with corresponding professional license. * Experience: 2–3 years of teaching and professional experience in the field. **Desirable Qualifications:** * A master’s degree in a related field is desirable. * Familiarity with learning platforms such as Teams, Blackboard, or similar. * Key competencies: digital and technological proficiency; ability to foster empathy, patience, and conflict resolution; capacity to design classes that promote critical thinking, creativity, and active participation. **Your Impact at UVM** At the Universidad del Valle de México, we educate well-rounded individuals for fulfilling lives and a better world.
