Field guardian who transforms science into tangible results for Michoacán producers
The impact of your role
You will serve as the bridge between agricultural innovation and avocado and berry orchards in the Patzcuaro region. You will convert field observations into replicable strategies that strengthen crop resilience and family farm profitability.
Your key responsibilities
* Design and implement orchard-level technical plans (avocado, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry) focused on phytosanitary management and bioinputs.
* Document rigorously: georeferenced photos, pest/disease incidence metrics, and weekly phytosanitary indicator progress.
* Support producers through in-person visits (75% of time) and structured digital follow-up (WhatsApp Business \+ Sheets reports \+ CRM).
* Translate technical data into actionable recommendations for producers and commercial partners.
* Generate weekly reports including: status of developments, early warnings, quantifiable results, and next steps.

* Is an Agricultural Engineer specialized in phytopathology, entomology, or bioinput management.
* Has at least 2 years of field experience with avocado or berries.

* Values technical honesty over indicator compliance.
* Treats organization as a professional value: calibrated tools, timely reporting, structured information.
What you will build with us
* Purpose-driven growth: a clear path toward technical specialist or regional coordination roles, with continuous training in certified bioinputs and postharvest practices.
